Permanent Sales Manager
What is cement?
Consuming locally made, artisanal products in a more responsible manner - CIMENT's leitmotif is to bring solid soap back into fashion by offering high-end, healthy soaps that gently cleanse the skin.
Ciment is also a range of solid and hair cosmetics.
Following the opening of our first soap factory in the 11th arrondissement of Paris in February 2020, we are developing a second soap factory in Bordeaux.
The Ciment team is a highly motivated and expert team of seven people (growing to 13). Even though we're based in different cities (Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille), everyone feels invested in a common mission: to become THE brand of high-quality solid cosmetics.
We already have 250 resellers, mainly in France, and we are expanding across Europe and the world.
Job Description:
We're hiring our first B2B sales manager. You'll be responsible for implementing tools and strategies to grow sales.
You will have to manage sales agents, distributors, but also do prospecting, negotiation and order tracking.
As a team leader, you'll be accompanied by a growth manager (acquisition, automation, and e-commerce) and a sales intern you'll recruit. You'll be fully involved in managing a successful, fast-growing brand. This is a great opportunity, as a huge playing field awaits you!
Missions:
- Development of commercial prospecting lists
- Canvassing prospects
- Animation of reseller networks (concept stores, department stores, organic chains, etc.)
- Sales training
- Communication with resellers and onboarding of new
- Approaching companies for special projects (e.g. Christmas gifts, custom products, white label, etc.)
- Carrying out sales actions to achieve set sales objectives
- Organization of promotional operations for customers and prospects and organization of customer events
- Propose a market-adapted approach
- Ensure the interface between sales and the various internal departments, in order to guarantee sales monitoring
- Ensure commercial monitoring of competitors and prices
- Participate in national and/or international trade fairs
- Prospecting to develop new partnerships
- Be able to build and implement the business development plan with the team
Profile sought:
At least 5-7 years of professional experience within a cosmetics brand or equivalent. You're interested and motivated by the adventure within a small organization. You're autonomous, dynamic, and fully responsible for the business, working directly with the co-founders. The goal is to support Ciment in its strong growth and be a key player in its development!

Written and spoken English is required.

Job Description:
You are part of the sales team and report directly to Jérémy, co-founder.
You're responsible for the AARRR funnel: activation, revenue, referral, and repeat! Not just for e-commerce, but also for workshops, direct sales in our two stores, and B2B support.

Missions:
- Optimization of each customer's journey: (e-commerce, B2B, workshop participants and store customers)
- CRM: email flows, push notifications, text messages, calls; you implement, test, and improve various automation tools. (In collaboration with our sales representative and automation freelancer)
- Data and analytics: tagging plan, tracking, cohort monitoring, attribution model, analyses; you are responsible for the reliability of the data and its proper understanding by the entire team. (in conjunction with our agency)
- Lead generation: scraping, automation, CRM, you team up with our sales representative by generating qualified leads to develop the B2B strategy together
In addition to these missions, you will benefit from the time necessary to train and develop your skills on the growth issues that interest you.

Boutique Sales Assistant Internship

Job Description:
The boutique at 100 avenue Parmentier in Paris is our beating heart. It's Ciment's showcase. In this beautiful setting, you can help us beautifully present and sell our products. You'll also be a support staff member with e-commerce sales and shipping, as well as B2B special orders.

Missions:
- In-store sales: customer advice, sales techniques
- Management of restocking/stocks in our store in compliance with GMP (FIFO, batch traceability)
- Ensure product prices are correctly displayed and timely offers are available.
- Ensure that bulk products are correctly marked with the correct batch numbers.
- Shop maintenance: stamping bags, filling shelves (facing), renewing the window display, watering plants 🌱, reporting stock shortages
- B2B parcels: help with preparing shipments
- Enter and track deliveries or request UPS collections, notify of any remaining items and return them when products are available.
- B to C parcels: make parcels, and on Shopify, edit automatic or manual colissimo slips/ Update stock, identify site bugs and report them.
- Help prepare workshops, if led by a team member during the day or at the end of the day
- Notify retail/parcel supply needs
- Small purchases in physical stores
- Register participants for workshops
- Instagram: Ensure a minimum number of stories 😎

Bordeaux store manager
The CIMENT Bordeaux soap factory opened its doors in October 2021 in the heart of Bordeaux. CIMENT soaps are handmade in the laboratory on Rue Sainte-Colombe, behind the shop.
Consume better, more locally, more responsibly - CIMENT's leitmotif is to bring solid soap back into fashion by offering healthy soaps that gently cleanse the skin. CIMENT's artisanal soaps are cold-processed using organic ingredients, free of allergens and essential oils, and are kind to both skin and the environment. In addition, special care is taken in the design of each soap. Because CIMENT also makes beautiful, graphic soaps that smell good!
Ciment also offers a range of solid cosmetics, such as shampoo and conditioner.
Following the opening of their first soap factory in the 11th arrondissement of Paris in February 2020, CIMENT is developing another production and sharing site in Bordeaux.
Three activities animate 40 rue Sainte-Colombe: production of soaps and cosmetics, running of cold saponification learning workshops, sale of products at the point of sale and BtoB to resellers / partners.
The team currently consists of three people: the site manager (in transition), Léa Penel Page, our head soap maker, and Sumeyra, a soap maker apprentice. CIMENT Bordeaux is therefore looking for its new store manager!
- Point of sale management at the economic and organizational level
- Monitoring store sales performance: producing periodic reports on store performance indicators
- Stock management and monitoring of point of sale restocking
- Supply management for raw materials for production
- Management, organization with partners
- Occasional running of cold saponification learning workshops
- Business development with regional clients (pharmacy, boutique, works council, partnership with the town hall, etc.)
- Planning Organization
- Assist in production planning management with Léa
- Assist with product, brand and company communication with the team
- Help to animate social networks
Profile sought:
You are recognized for your qualities as a salesperson, manager, and manager, and you master all aspects of managing a profit center, ideally in retail.
